The big reveal: Finalists for Malaysia's HR Excellence Awards 2022

Get excited to celebrate this year’s amazing HR finalists as we reveal the shortlist for the HR Excellence Awards Malaysia 2022.

Human Resources Online is delighted to bring back #HRExcellenceAwards as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, in our endeavour to recognise and reward Malaysia’s best in-class HR teams and individuals for their spectacular work across the HR function.

With trophies to be given out in 34 categories, we look forward to celebrating HR teams and professionals who have been are resilient in pushing the boundaries of people strategy. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 14 October 2022 at Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

VIEW FINALISTS

The awards, as with each year, are judged by a panel of top HR leaders from organisations such as Carrier, Carro, FashionValet, Fujifilm Business Innovation, HP Malaysia, Jotun Paints (Malaysia), RHB Banking Group, Synthomer and more.  

A member of the jury, Razman Ismail, Chief People Officer, UEM Edgenta, commented Iit is heart-warming to see organisations continue to put employees’ wellbeing on top of their priority, despite the continued challenges of business recovery post the pandemic". He added: "It is a testimony that reflects the importance of talent in delivering business outcomes. Congratulations to all participating companies for the hard work in putting in their submission.”

Jury member, Shaun Perumal, Chief Human Resource Officer, AMAZIN’ Graze, added: "In an unprecedented time, HR leaders are met with employees that are physically and emotionally disengaged. This, coupled with a very competitive job-market creates a daunting challenge for HR leaders to achieve their goals.

"In the entries I judged, it was impressive to see how HR leaders and their teams are not merely ’surviving’ these challenges but employing agile and innovative strategies to thrive in them."
