Global financial hubs London, New York, and Hong Kong are the top cities in the world which harbour the most coworking spaces, as revealed by CircleLoop's co-working index. Nevertheless, they are also featured high up in the ranking of cities with the most expensive hot desking.
Hot desking here refers to getting a seat at a co-working space.
APAC has the largest amount of coworking spaces, with nine cities featured in the ranking. These are: Hong Kong, New Delhi, Tokyo, Mumbai, Melbourne, Shanghai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.
The index drew data from 90 cities around the world on the number of coworking spaces and the average cost of a hot desk.
