Topics announced for HR Tech Interactive 2017

What does the workplace of the future look like? Is it driven by technology alone? HR leaders and HRIS specialists will meet at HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s biggest regional HR technology conference, to examine the in’s and out’s of HR innovation and its impact on businesses. To navigate the multifaceted HR landscape in Asia, HR Tech Interactive 2017 will gather experts and industry leaders in interactive sessions, case study presentations, and networking activities.

Organised by Human Resources, HR Tech Interactive 2017 is a one-day conference happening in Malaysia on 12 September, in Singapore on 14 September, and in the Philippines on 28 September.

“When it comes to HR technology, there is no fixed, blanket solution for a region as diverse as Asia,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

“This is why HR Tech Interactive is committed to presenting the latest trends and most credible perspectives that could help companies identify the kind of technology and processes that work for their respective organisations.”

HR Tech Interactive 2017 will explore the topics HR research has found to be the most critical for the community. These are:

Leaps in talent analytics – How big data and analytics can generate more business opportunities and drive employee performance and improve decision making processes;

Mobile HR outreach - Principles of aligning mobile HR strategy with organisational objectives and efforts to achieve a high-performance culture;

The power of HR cloud - Wide-ranging views and practical lessons on the use of HR cloud to improve workflow and user experience and ways to position HR as a strategic partner in delivering value to key stakeholders;

Social media in HR - Fresh insights and techniques on developing and managing social media channels to intensify hiring campaigns and other HR operations;

Hottest hiring tools - How to explore and attract the talent market using the newest technologies in recruitment, employee engagement, and onboarding protocols.

Past HR Tech Interactive participants are senior HR leaders from major employers in the region, such as AXA, Credit Suisse, Ericsson, HP Inc., Hyatt Group, Maersk, Petronas, Societe Generale, UPS, and Volvo Cars. All presenters and panellists, such as David Chin, chief human resources officer at Biosensors, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

Held in Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore in September, HR Tech Interactive 2017 is Asia’s biggest HR technology strategy event. Attendance to the one-day annual event is by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals.

Human Resources’ "Interactive-style" conference format applies to case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
