Up the ranks: Ankita Tiwari joins DTDC Express as new CHRO

In her role, she will leverage her set of skills in fostering diversity, equity and inclusivity at the workplace, to build a strong organisational culture.

Indian express logistics provider DTDC Express has appointed Ankita Tiwari (pictured above) as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective June 2024.

With more than two decades of experience in HR leadership across various industries, Ankita brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this role, aiming to drive impactful HR strategies and initiatives.

As she joins DTDC, she will leverage her skills in fostering diversity, equity and inclusivity at the workplace to build a strong organisational culture. This will include focusing on promoting more women-led initiatives such the All Women Operated Branch in Mumbai.

Her areas of expertise as CHRO also encompass leading talent management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, performance management, and HR business partnering (HRBP) for organisations.

Prior to joining DTDC, Ankita held several significant senior HR leadership roles at companies including Larsen & Toubro, A.P. Moller-Maersk, Pidilite, BASF, and ST Ericsson. In these roles, she substantially enhanced the HR practices of the organisation by guiding the department towards increased automation, digitisation, agility, and strategic business alignment.
