Up the ranks: Ilham Maulana takes on regional HR portfolio for P&G's oral care operations

He was most recently the country HR director for P&G Home Products Indonesia, and this new role will see him relocating from Indonesia to Singapore.

Effective April 2022, Ilham Maulana has been appointed Director, HR - Oral Care, Asia Middle East Africa (AMA), Procter & Gamble International Operations SA. 

The move sees him relocating from Indonesia to Singapore, reporting to Ahmed El Mahdy, Senior Vice President, Oral Care, Asia Middle East Africa, Procter & Gamble, and Sarah Davies, Senior Vice President, HR, Asia Middle East Africa, Procter & Gamble.

Ilham was most recently Director, HR - Country HR, Procter & Gamble Home Products Indonesia. Sharing about his new role with HRO, he says: "My main responsibility is to create a world-class organisation to deliver the business. This covers end-to-end management from talent to capability, engagement, and other HR aspects for the Oral Care organisation across AMA." His number one priority in the coming year would be a focus on organisational wellbeing. 

When asked about a key area of talent concern in AMA and the industry, he responds: "It's not a concern, but one area of attention is to adapt to the new habits of talent, and how we are able to deliver the right engagement to ensure our talent perform at their best."
