In his new role, he will lead HR strategy, development, and execution, bringing to the table more than 15 years of experience in HR and corporate strategy.
Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has announced the appointment of Frank Poncheri (pictured above) as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, where he will be reporting to CEO Giordano Albertazzi.
In his new role, Poncheri will lead HR strategy, development and execution, with the aim to further strengthen Vertiv’s strategic priorities and behaviours.
Based in Ohio, US, Poncheri brings over 15 years of experience in HR and corporate strategy, with emphasis on global employee development, talent management, and high-performance culture. Prior to joining Vertiv, he previously held roles as vice president of HR and corporate integration, divisional HR director, and various other roles during his 10-year tenure with Owens Corning in the US and Finland. His began his career in HR at GE Aerospace, following the completion of the company's HR Leadership Programme.
Commenting on the appointment, Albertazzi said: "To provide our customers with the highest experience and deliver on our promise to our investors, cultivating employees that will thrive in our high-performance culture is critical. Meanwhile, Poncheri called this an "exciting time to be in the critical digital infrastructure space, and an opportune time to secure the right talent."

Poncheri holds two degrees from The Ohio State University, Max M. Fisher College of Business – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and Master of Labor Relations & Human Resources.
