"You're someone who can be soft as silk but strong as steel Don't shy away from showing what you're made of, oh This world is yours to take You can bend but you won't break You got no fear and nothing you're afraid of."
When we listened to these lyrics of Michelle Obama, Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya, Missy Elliot, Janelle Monae, Kelly Rowland's song?'This is for my girls',?we couldn't help but feel empowered.?The lyrics of this song are so beautiful and inspiring, and serve as a timely reminder for every woman that hey, there's nothing you can't do in this world - and everyone should support one another.
With that and in the spirit of International Women's Day, we at?Human Resources Online?wanted to provide a special platform for women leaders to share what they are doing to empower other women, especially in leadership roles.
In this third part of our special series, 10 women leaders from Xero, Exyte Asia-Pacific, Tigerhall, Telstra, Integral Ad Science, Ohmyhome, Shopee Singapore, Equinix South Asia, ESET APAC?and Red Shoe Communications tell us more.
