This year's rankings by Universum also identified the most preferred industries among business, engineering, and IT talent, which included banking, aerospace and defense, and computer software and technology.
Tech giant Google has emerged the top-most attractive employer in the world among three groups of students - business, engineering, and IT.
Coming in second across all groups is Microsoft, while third place goes to Apple among business students; BMW Group among engineering students, and IBM among IT students, according to Universum's World's Most Attractive Employers 2021 ranking.

Persona #1: Go-Getters
This group is typically attracted to companies with an established record of success, and is focused on high performance, rapid promotion, prestige, and attaining a high level of responsibility.

Persona #2: Globe-Trotters
This group is drawn to big city-based, multinational organisations that provide opportunities to travel abroad and work with a diverse international community of colleagues.

- Société Générale (30%)
- The Boston Consulting Group (30%)
- Bain & Company (29%)
- McKinsey & Company (28%)
Persona #3: Ground-Breakers
This group enjoys team-oriented work and a creative, dynamic work environment. Ground-Breakers seek challenging work in innovation-driven companies, and they like to embrace new technologies.

- Volvo Car Corporation (34%)
