China resumes outbound group tours to Japan, South Korea, UK, US, Australia, and more

Both physical and online travel agencies can now resume operating outbound group tours and "air ticket + hotel" business for Chinese citizens to relevant countries and regions.

China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced the resumption of outbound group travel to another 78 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the UK, the US, and Australia.

China expanded the scope of the pilot programme for outbound travel earlier this year on 6 February and 15 March in batches, covering most Southeast Asian countries and many popular European destinations.
