Global HR director joins Thermo Fisher ScientificMichael Wulff Pedersen moves to Germany to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as its global HR director. He comes with more than 20 years experience from international organisations in local, regional and global roles, primarily in life sciences. Prior to this, Pedersen was working in Singapore with Sandoz as its head HR (APAC) where he was responsible for all commercial HR activities across Asia Pacific (Pakistan to Japan to New Zealand, including China, India and Australia). He was driving a business oriented HR agenda, with a strong focus on talent growth, attraction and engagement, and managing the people and business complexity of local becoming global, and global becoming local.

Charlie Robinson appointed as head of peopleAfter leaving the Lazada Group in April 2018, Charlie Robinson joins 4meGlam as its head of people. The company is a newly launched beauty-focused eCommerce business, and Robinson is responsible to scale the company across South East Asia. Based in Singapore, he reports to the Yeeli Lee, CEO, 4,meGlam. Previously, Robinson has worked with Dyson, HackerTrail, Morgan McKinley, and more.

PropertyGuru Group announces appointment of human resources directorPropertyGuru Group is proud to welcome Genevieve Godwin as the human resources director. Bringing with her 17 years of international experience in human resources across various sectors including digital companies like Telenor, Tapad Inc., and Wave Money, Godwin will provide HR leadership to strengthen PropertyGuru’s position as a high-growth technology company in Southeast Asia.

Godwin's expertise in the technology sector will help PropertyGuru build a strong digital talent base to grow and scale the business. She will focus on boosting the company’s employer branding – this includes talent strategy and organisational capabilities – and implementing strategies that inspire employees towards pursuing their goals. She is based in Singapore.

British Chamber of Commerce Singapore (BritCharm) promotes Joe TofieldIn May 2018, Joe Tofield was promoted to chair of the leadership, talent and professional development committee in BritCharm. The Leadership, Talent and Personal Development Business Group (LTPD) seeks to engage, inspire and educate members to develop their businesses effectively by providing events, content and insights in three main areas - leadership, talent, and personal development. Based in Singapore, he is also currently the business development manager (professional development centre) at British Council.

Infineon Technologies welcomes Sabina JamesJoining Infineon Technologies as its talent network executive, Sabina James supports manpower needs of the company by proactive sourcing for talented candidates. In this role, she is tasked to facilitate and coordinate long term plans to attract talents, Work closely with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to deliver quality service to the end users, support and ensure data integrity goals are met, promote internal career opportunities to employees, and ensure timeliness in fulfilling the manpower needs. She is based in Malaysia, and was previously working with Adecco as its recruitment consultant.

Renuka Ramalingam joins Subsea 7As a talent sourcing specialist with a vast working experience in recruiting engineering, IT, finance, HR, FMCG, and construction professional, Renuka Ramalingam joins Subsea 7 as its senior talent acquisition specialist - APAC and AMEA. Based in Malaysia, her areas of expertise include staffing, recruiting, sourcing, head hunting, reporting, vendor management, sourcing, interviewing, campus recruitment, client handling, salary negotiation, executive hiring, contract recruitment, team management. Prior to this, she was a talent acquisition partner at Experian.

Sanya Jehangir Ali is now SVP talent management and culture at AmBank GroupAfter her role as the senior vice president, human resources at AmBank Group for more than a year, Sanya Jehangir Ali is now SVP talent management and culture. She is a proactive, flexible and results-oriented manager with a successful background in human resource, and the achievement of business growth through the execution of successful recruitment & HR strategies. She possess excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial internal and external relationships. She enjoys being part of, as well as managing and motivating a successful and productive team, and she thrives in highly challenging working environments. She is based in Malaysia.

KellyOCG welcomes new vice president APACSiddharth Suhas has over a decade of sales leadership and P&L management experience in professional services and consulting spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Southern China & India leading diverse, multi-cultural teams.

He has recently moved to KellyOCG as its vice president Asia Pacific. In this role, he is the head of strategic sales, leading a high performing team across the APAC region. Responsible for growth & adoption of Kelly OCG's services and offerings, go to market and client management. Previously, Siddharth was working with Hudson and its head of APAC business development and partnerships (RPO/MSP). He continues to be based in Singapore.

Mauve Group promotes ASIAPAC sales and business development consultantIn May 2018, Mauve Group introduces its ASIAPAC ales and business development consultant Ashleigh Duncan. She will be establishing the firm’s Australian sales office in Melbourne to complement its existing Australian company and broad service offering in the country.

Having completed her degree studies in business management and achieving a Masters at Hult International Business School, Duncan honed her business development skills in the software and communications industries in San Francisco and London, before joining our sales team as an Account Manager at Mauve’s head office in Paphos. Ashleigh’s keen love of travel has seen her jump at the chance of a new challenge in Australia. This role will work alongside new recruit Brandon Poon, business development consultant, in Singapore to develop its coverage across the ASIAPAC region, and is a sign of exciting things to come at Mauve as it expands its sales offices around the world.

Aveenashpal Ganapathy joins RGF Executive SearchAfter spending two years with Michael Page, Aveenashpal Ganapathy has been hired by RGF Executive Search to set-up their HR desk and to recruit HR professionals at minimum manager level up to C-level across all industries. In addition, he will be supporting the director in building the life sciences space - which is a new avenue for him. Based in Malaysia, he focuses on delivering high quality search assignments through RGF's classical executive search methodology which utilises both boutique practice and resources of a global firm.
