Effective Friday (30 December 2022), Indonesia has lifted all remaining COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings and movements.

Speaking at a press conference on that day, and cited by Jakarta Post, President Joko Widodo noted that this decision was taken based on the country's latest infection figures.

Most of the population also already has antibodies against the disease, he further noted.
