Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia adjusts counter operation hours during Ramadan 2025

In this period, JIM will operate from 9:00am-3:30pm from Monday to Friday for counter operations and collection hours, and 9:00am-4:00pm for the call centre.

In conjunction with Ramadan taking place in March 2025, Malaysia’s MYXpats Centre has adjusted its operating hours as follows:

Counter operation and collection hours:

• 9:00am — 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Call centre operating hours:

• 9:00am — 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Break times & closure:

• 1:00pm – 1:30pm (Monday - Thursday)
• 12:15pm – 2:45pm (Friday)

The Centre will also be closed on weekends as well as public holidays.

For assistance, clients have been directed to the MYXPATS helpdesk (for matters regarding Employment Pass, Professional Visit Pass, and related passes), and the RP-T Care team (for RP-T matters), as well as the Returning Expert Programme (REP).

Similarly, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) passport office and PERKESO's counter offices will also be adjusting its operating hours as follows: 

KLIA passport office

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday break: 12:30pm – 2:30pm

PERKESO counter offices 

• General operating hours (All states except HQ, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Terengganu,  Kelantan)
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

• Headquarters and Kuala Lumpur
  • Monday to Friday: 7:45am – 4:30pm
  • Customer service line: 8:00am– 4:00pm

• Kedah, Terengganu,  Kelantan
  • Sunday to Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Thursday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
  • Customer service line: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
