Malaysia's ESD announces gradual re-deployment of online sub-product services

The re-deployment will begin with the Transfer of Endorsement (ToE) / Take-up Balance (TuB).

The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) of Malaysia has announced the re-deployment of online sub-product services via its ESD online, to be rolled out in phases.

The gradual deployment will begin with the Transfer of Endorsement (ToE) / Take-up Balance (TuB), for which the application is now available via ESD Online through the sub-product menu.

Further updates on the re-deployment of the other online Sub-Product services will be shared periodically.

The ESD introduced in June several new online application features for sub-product services to better facilitate the expatriate pass process for employers.

Effective 1 July 2024, these new sub-product features will be implemented in the ESD Online system:

• Amendment of pass information
• Shortening of pass duration
• Cancellation of pass
• Transfer of Endorsement (ToE) / Take-up Balance (TuB)
• Permission to study
• Permission to work at a second location
