The National Wages Council will convene on 29 August to develop the guidelines, which will cover 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025.
Singapore's National Wages Council is looking to release its annual guidelines on wage and employment-related issues by November 2024.
As a tripartite body comprising employer, employee and government representatives, the NWC will convene on 29 August 2024 to develop the guidelines, which will cover 1 December 2024 - 30 November 2025.
In its deliberations, the NWC said, it will take into account factors such as Singapore's economic competitiveness, labour market conditions, inflation, productivity growth, as well as the global economic outlook.
Along with the above, the NWC added that it will also continue to set out its annual guidance on the range of Progressive Wage growth for lower-wage workers.
