Reminder: Levy exemption for HRDF-registered employers to end on 15 September

 

Malaysia's Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has reminded employers that the six-month human resources levy exemption period will end tomorrow, 15 September 2020 (Tuesday). 

Following this, employers are to resume with their levy contribution with effect from September 2020, the Fund announced in a Facebook post

The six-month period first took effect in April 2020, with exemptions starting for contributions for the month of March 2020, as an initiative of the government's Prihatin package.

Details on the exemption and payment effect as of 15 September are as follows:
