Rhenus Group unveils new employer brand: 'Empowered by You'

A uniform employer brand is being established across the logistics services provider for the first time, aimed to create a common self-image for staff in more than 70 countries.

Rhenus Group, a global logistics service provider headquartered in Holzwickede, Germany, and 40,000 employees in more than 70 countries, has launched a new employer brand on 15 April 2025 — "Empowered by You".

This new and uniform employer brand is being established for the entire Group for the first time to create a common self-image and further strengthen the team spirit across sites and national borders.

The objective is also to strengthen the corporate culture and promote a sense of belonging among employees worldwide as well as create working environment in which people feel valued, develop their potential and identify with the company in the long term.

The new Rhenus employer branding will be based on four central pillars that define the employer value proposition:

  • Entrepreneurship: Employees are encouraged to take responsibility and drive innovation.
  • Purpose: Rhenus has an impact beyond logistics and shapes industries and economies.
  • Opportunities: The focus is on career paths, further training opportunities and flexibility.
  • Community: Team spirit, diversity and a strong corporate culture are fundamental components.

Dr. Joana Baetz, CHRO of the Rhenus Group and a member of the Management Board, shared: "We not only want to attract talented people with our new employer brand, but above all retain our existing employees in the long term and support them in their development.

"'Empowered by You' is more than just a guiding principle – it is a clear commitment to the people who shape Rhenus every day. Together, we are creating a culture of appreciation, trust and further development."

The new employer brand will first be introduced internally through company-wide campaigns, interactive initiatives, and open dialogue sessions.

One highlight is the Rhenus Empower Tour (as pictured above) – an interactive roadshow through German and international Rhenus sites, where a tour truck will stop at various sites in Germany to experience the new identity and vision together with the employees.
