Westlife Foodworld, the owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India, is entering a new chapter with the appointment of Sandhydeep Purri (pictured above) as Chief People Officer.
In this role, she oversees the entire spectrum of HR functions, with a focus on enhancing HR governance, optimising strategic HR processes, and driving the integration of technology within HR. Her leadership will be critical in aligning HR initiatives with the business objectives of Westlife Foodworld and fostering a high-performance culture.
Reporting to Saurabh Kalra, Managing Director, Sandhydeep will work closely with the leadership team to drive future readiness. He shared: "We are pleased to have Sandhydeep Purri join our leadership team as Chief People Officer.

With nearly 30 years of experience in human resources, Sandhydeep has successfully managed key HR functions, including talent acquisition, leadership development, industrial relations, and organisational development, across multiple industries such as ed-tech, retail, QSR, and IT.
Prior to joining Westlife Foodworld, Sandhydeep served as Chief People Officer at Unacademy Group. She has also worked at major organisations like Sapphire Foods, Aditya Birla Retail, and Deloitte, and has led large-scale change management initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.
