Walk-ins allowed in Malaysia for COVID-19 vaccinations, starting 9 Jan 2023

This applies to individuals aged 18 years and above, residents of long-term care facilities, and more.

Starting 9 January 2023 (Monday), individuals in Malaysia eligible for the first, second, and booster COVID-19 doses will be able to walk in for the vaccine.

Individuals may go to any Ministry of Health (MOH) clinic and hospital for the doses, in accordance with the facility's operating hours. As shared by MOH, the following individuals are eligible: 

  1. Individuals of age 18 years and above, especially those with health problems
  2. Senior citizens of age 60 years and above, especially those with comorbidities
  3. Residents of long-term care facilities
  4. Frontline health workers
  5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women
