Eligible individuals may now book second COVID-19 booster dose in Malaysia: Nov 2022

It should be noted that only Pfizer vaccines are being given for the second booster dose at the moment.

Malaysia's Ministry of Health (MOH, also known as Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia or KKM) has now announced the release of the booking link for the second COVID-19 booster dose for eligible individuals in Malaysia.

To access the booking link, individuals are to:

  1. Update their MySejahtera application to the latest version (version 2.0.6).
  2. Update their personal details (e.g. date of birth).
  3. Open the COVID-19 vaccination page to view the second booster dose booking link.

It should be noted that only Pfizer vaccines are being given for the second booster dose at the time of this post. 

Per the KKM COVID-19 website, the booster dose will be given to adults aged 18 years and above. As previously announced, priority will be given to vulnerable groups and those at high risk of COVID-19 infection (upon completion of their full vaccination schedule to date) such as:

  • Frontline workers (health and non-health personnel),
  • Residents and staff in long-term health care centers such as elderly care centers and so on,
  • Individuals with comorbidities,
  • Pregnant women,
  • Individuals that need to travel abroad.
