It is time to celebrate leading organisations in Malaysia who have created a more engaged, motivated, productive and energised workforce by crafting and implementing best-in-class strategies to improve employee experience. With the judging complete, finalists for the inaugural Employee Experience Awards 2021 Malaysia have emerged.

#EmployeeExperienceAwards is the region’s only peer-reviewed HR awards that celebrates the exceptional contribution that HR practitioners across the region have made in implementing and transforming three key elements of a holistic EX approach: leadership, learning and engagement.

The winners will be announced on 24 June 2021.

As always, the awards are judged by a panel of senior, highly-experienced HR practitioners. This year, the panel includes senior HR professionals from organisations such as American Express Malaysia, AXA Affin Insurance, BMW Group Malaysia, Columbia Asia Group, Dexcom, Habib Jewels, Maybank, RotiboyBakeshoppe, Sunway Malls and more.

One of our judges, Louisa Brady, Group HR Director, Yinson Holdings, noted this year’s entries demonstrated how HR teams are rapidly learning, adapting, driving change and utilising technology to ensure that employee health and wellbeing is at the centre of their people strategies.

Meanwhile, Vinod Rai, HR Director – SEA & Regional SC, Kellogg Company added: “It is so fascinating to see agile and innovative ways that companies found for driving engagement with their people. While some have come up with completely out-of-box ideas, many organisations have found a way to upgrade and deliver existing initiatives innovatively."

Judge Khim Tan, Group Chief Human Resource Officer, Alliance Bank Malaysia, shared: "The strategic initiatives from the local and multinational organisations reflect the significance of agile talent and inclusive leadership in pivoting for change, more so during such unprecedented circumstances. Targeted programmes to proactively elevate the capabilities and capacity of the organisations instead of generic solutions have proven to transform people and organisations."
