Following a rebranding in November last year, Godrej Enterprises Group, and India-based multinational conglomerate, has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a workplace where employees thrive on purpose.
The company has shared that it is revamping its people management strategies to cultivate a workplace where employees are encouraged to be entrepreneurial and innovative, amidst its plans for significant growth.
Stating this in a press release on Friday (10 January 2025), Godrej highlighted its commitment to empowering the next generation pioneers. Harpreet Kaur, CHRO, Godrej Enterprises Group, emphasised the importance of fostering a culture of responsibility and innovation within the company.
“Our initiatives across innovation, digital skills, intrapreneurial and leadership programmes are designed to provide employees with the tools to innovate, experiment, and lead with purpose—ensuring that they are equipped to make meaningful contributions in a fast-evolving world,” she said.
Godrej is focusing on several key initiatives to achieve these goals.
- Intrapreneurship programmes: ‘Sprint’ is a programme that aims to empower employees to bring innovative ideas to life through mentorship, resources, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Digital upskilling initiatives: 'Drive Future Readiness’ and ‘DigiNXT’ are programmes that equip employees with advanced analytics and digital technology skills to enable them to thrive in the evolving technological landscape.
- Flexible work arrangements: The company offers flexible work options including remote working and adaptable timings to enhance work-life balance and foster productivity.
Through these initiatives, Godrej said it aims to build a future-ready workforce that can drive a lasting impact on industries and communities worldwide.
Announced on 28 November 2024, the brand refresh seeks to “create a cohesive and inherently ownable identity” for Godrej’s businesses. "The new brand identity is more than just a change of colour, it embodies dynamism and blends authenticity with our ambition to redefine consumer experiences by leveraging design led innovation and service differentiation," Nyrika Holkar, Executive Director, Godrej Enterprises Group commented.
"It also reflects a shift in GEG’s ‘Consumer First’ businesses to include a more premium offering that reflects changing customer aspirations and in our ‘Nation First’ businesses to provide more cutting-edge engineering solutions which showcases India’s prowess on a global scale."
