Karen Lim joins Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as Head of HR for APJ and Greater China

Experienced HR leader Karen Lim has joined Skyworks Solutions as Head of HR, Asia Pacific and Greater China region. In this role, she looks forward to helping grow Skyworks’ presence in Asia, with Singapore as one of its anchor global supply chain hubs.

She is passionate about employer branding and aims to position Skyworks as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia, while attracting the best talent in the semiconductor industry to join the Company. A strong advocate of people managers and leadership excellence, she is attuned to developing early and mid-career talent, and plans to build a coaching culture in Skyworks.

Hearst TV hires diversity director

Yasmine Osborn, who has led diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for 16 years, joins New York-based multimedia company, Hearst Television in the newly-created position of Director of Diversity & Inclusion.

In this role, Osborn, in partnership with corporate and local-market leadership across Hearst Television’s station group, will build upon D&I efforts already underway throughout the group, developing and leading new programmes to recruit, support and advance a diverse workforce. Particular areas of focus will include employee resource groups, mentorship and sponsorship programmes, T&D, external partnerships, and employee engagement utilising opportunities such as cultural/heritage months and company town halls. 

Katherine Barnett, Hearst Television's SVP, Human Resources, said: "We’ve already had encouraging initial success with efforts including town halls. Yasmine, who made a real difference at USTA, brings the right experience and vision to the important task of growing these programs and launching new efforts." 

Hearst Television President, Jordan Wertlieb, added: "Yasmine’s extensive experience, creativity and vision will clearly take our already strong efforts to the next level."

An accomplished tennis player who captained her college women’s tennis team, earned NCAA Division II All-American and Female Athlete of the Year honours and was inducted into the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association, Osborn served in various diversity-focused roles at the USTA, most recently as the organisation’s D&I manager, based in Orlando.


Kirsty Poltock appointed as Managing Director of JAC Recruitment Singapore

Specialist permanent recruitment consultancy JAC Group has announced the appointment of Kirsty Poltock as Managing Director of its Singapore country operations from 3 May 2021.

She is a veteran of specialist permanent and contracting recruitment, and in leading highly successful teams to drive growth. Fresh out of the University of Warwick, she joined Page Group where she rapidly rose through the ranks. After 10 years of experience in the UK market, Kirsty was appointed to Director of its Singapore operations.

She shared: "My focus will be on retaining our Japanese client base but also investing and building new relationships with MNC and SME clients. Investment in our contracting business will also be key to further growth in Singapore. By concentrating on both these areas my goal is for JAC Singapore to firmly secure market share and become the leading specialist professional recruitment firm in the country."

Regional MD of JAC Group (ex-Japan), Adil Driouech, commented: "Kirsty is a leading female figure in the recruitment industry. She has an immense passion for the business, believes in longstanding relationships and is very focused on bringing the best out of people."


The Adecco Group names John Morgan as President of LHH 

LHH has appointed John Morgan as President effective July 1. Currently serving as COO and Head of Established Markets, Morgan has been responsible for all global operations across the LHH portfolio and has led some of the company's largest client engagements over the past 16 years.

Current President, Ranjit de Sousa, has decided to step down from his role at the end of June. During his tenure, LHH achieved industry-leading growth by developing new, innovative solutions for companies and individuals, including the 2019 launch of Ezra, a mobile coaching app.

"I am delighted that John Morgan has agreed to take over as President of LHH," de Sousa said. "John and I partnered together closely over the years to deliver value to our clients and build and maintain our impactful employee culture. DocuSign appoints former Salesforce Asia Pacific COO to lead APJ region

As part of its plans to expand growth in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region, DocuSign has appointed Dan Bognar as its Group Vice President and General Manager for APJ. In this role, he will support the company's efforts to drive rapid digital transformation for customers across the region.

Bognar brings more than 30 years of technology sales, business consulting and leadership experience to DocuSign. 

He shared: "I'm thrilled to be joining an organisation that dedicates itself to improving the lives of customers by providing fast, efficient and automated ways to digitally transform their agreement process."

Michael Sheridan, President of International, DocuSign, added: "The addition of someone as accomplished as Dan to lead this growth is essential as we broaden our focus and continue to scale."

Prior to joining DocuSign, Bognar spent more than eight years at Salesforce where he held a variety of senior leadership roles across APAC including COO, Solution Engineering, Cloud Sales and Industries. He was also the executive sponsor for many of Salesforce's largest accounts.
