Users can receive their queue numbers within a mobile, allowing them to manage their visitation timings and reduce the issue of long queues.
The Immigration Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, or JIM) has announced the implementation of its Queue Management System (QMS) in the Putrajaya Immigration Headquarters, with effect from 6 January 2025 (Monday). The system will part of the Security and Passport Department.
What is QMS?
As shared by JIM, QMS is a smartphone application that generates queue numbers for a fuss-free immigration office visit. Users can receive their queue numbers within the application, allowing them to manage their visitation timings and reduce the issue of long queues.
The QMS system will call the user at the appointed time to ensure orderly and smooth service process, giving them full control of prioritising other matters while waiting.
How to use QMS?
Download QMS on the Apple App Store or Android Play Store and select the immigration office branch you are in. A queue number will be provided instantly.
JIM encourages all to ultilise the QMS application for a better experience at the immigration and is confident that the system will allow them to provide the best quality of service to citizens.
