Three documents are being introduced for this new corruption prevention effort.
As part of its commitment to strengthening organisational ethics of trust and transparency, HRD Corp has launched its Anti-Corruption Initiative on 7 February 2023, at the Ministry of Human Resources (KSM), Putrajaya.
The launch ceremony was facilitated by Minister of Human Resources YB Sivakumar Varatharaju, and witnessed by Jamaluddin Puteh, Senior Assistant Chief Commissioner as well as Deputy Director of Inspection and Consultation Division, SPRM, with YB Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Human Resources; A. Maniam, Deputy General Secretary (Basic & International), and Datuk Shahul Hameed Dawood, CEO of HRD Corp.
This initiative is part of HRD Corp's corruption prevention efforts, and is carried out through the introduction of three core documents, namely:
- Integrity Pact which includes a Recognition of Integrity for HRD Corp's board of directors, senior leadership, employees, partners and third party suppliers of goods and services;
- HRD Corp Governance Report (2017-2022); and
- PSMB Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP PSMB) 2021-2025, in line with the National Corruption Prevention Plan (NACP) 2019-2023.
HRD Corp's Risk, Integrity and Governance department is responsible for ensuring and promoting a good governance culture within the organisation, and aims to drive ethics and transparency within the organisation.
