"Beyond remuneration, we will continue to review our manpower development initiatives and improve opportunities for our healthcare workers through job redesign and career development," MOH said.
A total of 37,000 allied health professionals (AHPs), pharmacists, and administrative, ancillary and support (AAS) staff in Singapore will receive increases of up to 7% to their monthly base salaries from 1 July 2025.
This comes following the Ministry of Health's (MOH) announcement in January, that salary increases could be expected for the same number of AHPs, AAS, staff, and pharmacists by mid-2025.
The above aside, a total of 26,000 public healthcare nurses will receive adjustments of up to 4% to their monthly base salaries, in efforts to keep pace with market trends, MOH said said on Thursday 27 March 2025). These adjustments are on top of the Award for Nurses' Grace, Excellence and Loyalty (ANGEL) scheme introduced in September 2024, which was launched to attract and encourage nurses to build a lifelong career in nursing.
MOH said healthcare staff will continue to receive annual salary increments, which aim to keep salaries in pace with inflation.
"With these salary increases, which are over and above the annual increments, we will enable the public healthcare sector to better attract and retain staff."
It added: "Beyond remuneration, we will continue to review our manpower development initiatives and improve opportunities for our healthcare workers through job redesign and career development."
