Launched in March 2020, the Kelly Services Indonesia Salary Guide 2020, which provides insights into the country's manpower and industry trends, reveals what professionals in the fields of banking & finance, consumer goods & services, hi-tech, and more can expect to earn on a monthly average this year.
The guide also highlighted that as per the government's plans, job creation and skill-job matching will be areas of focus in the country, for instance by linking vocational schools to the industry to ensure graduates satisfy new sector demands.
In line with that, the key roles across key sectors, and what they pay, are detailed below.

Banking & finance
In this sector, which comprises functions in accounting & finance, IT, and insurance, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in IT who holds 15 and more years of experience and an S1 qualification can expect to earn between IDR145,000,000 and IDR 275,000,000 a month, the highest of the lot.
Following this, the Finance Director who holds and S1 qualification and over 12 years of experience could earn a monthly pay of between IDR120,000,000 and IDR260,000,000.
