Top attractions in the world 2024: Asia edition

Gardens by the Bay Singapore comes in at eighth place, followed by Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 10^th, and Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 12^th place.

Tripadvisor's 2024 Travellers' Choice Awards Best Things to Do highlighted the highest rated experiences and attractions across the globe, based on the reviews collated on the platform. 

Some of the attractions from Asia in this year's edition of the awards include Singapore's Gardens by the Bay making its' debut on the list, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and the famous Taj Mahal in Agra, India. 

⁠According to a press release by Tripadvisor, the methodology behind this award is determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024, as well as an additional editorial process.

Among the top 25 attractions, six of them represent the Asia region, as follows:
