Up the ranks: Dr. Agapol Na Songkhla is appointed Thai Group Holdings' Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy

Effective 27 June 2024, Dr. Agapol will oversee HR initiatives across subsidiaries, whilst also leading corporate strategy to drive organisational reform.

Thai Group Holdings, a holding company whose subsidiaries provide insurance and financial services. has appointed Dr. Agapol Na Songkhla, formerly from Thai Beverage, as Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy. 

This strategic move aims to enhance organisational restructuring, strengthen personnel capabilities, and formulate leadership-driven strategies for financial stability and sustainable growth in Thailand.

In his new role, Dr. Agapol will oversee HR initiatives across subsidiaries, while also leading corporate strategy to drive organisational reform.

This restructuring aligns with TCC Group's strategy to empower executives through enhanced learning, skills development, and growth opportunities, paving the way for long-term organisational excellence in ensuring financial security and sustainable prosperity for the Thai populace.

Dr. Agapol holds a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University and master's and Ph.D. degrees in System Management from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. 

With nine years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in business strategy planning and eight years at Thai Military Bank as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, he has been recognised for his HR management and development expertise in various platforms.

In addition, Dr. Agapol has also received the Marshall Goldsmith Outstanding Coaching Leader Award for his commitment to mentoring and coaching.

Chotipat Pichanon, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Thai Group Holdings, underscored the importance of human resource development across the company's business sectors, through this key appointment.
