Up the ranks: George Haddad takes up role as Veritas Technologies' CHRO

George Haddad, previously the senior VP of HR at Concentrix, has been appointed as the chief human resources officer of Veritas Technologies, effective February 29, 2016.

He reports to Bill Coleman, Veritas' CEO, and is based at the company's headquarters at Mountain View, California.

In this role, his responsibility covers all aspects of human resource, from recruitment and compensation, talent development, to establishing and driving employee engagement and experience.

He told Human Resources his number one priority this year is to drive "a global cultural transformation for the company, while building capability and leadership for the future".

Haddad is seasoned in the computer hardware industry, having previously worked with Hewlett-Packard, Verisign, Amdocs, and Nortel, apart from Concentrix.

He attributes this sector-focus to his passion for building high-performance and suitable organisations, while enabling people and teams to do their best.
