Frasers Property has appointed seasoned real estate HR executive Vicki Ng as its new Group Head of People.

The appointment is effective 22 August 2022. Ng will be based in Singapore, and report directly to Group Chief Executive Officer Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi.

In this role, Ng will lead the development of Frasers Property’s people strategy and oversee all aspects of human capital across the Group's diverse businesses and workforce, which include five asset classes, namely, residential, retail, commercial & business parks, industrial & logistics as well as hospitality.

Working closely with the group management team, she will also focus on inculcating a caring, learning and agile culture guided by the company's core value of "inspiring experiences, creating places for good".

On the development, CEO Panote said: "Vicki is joining us at an important time, as we navigate the future of work and further develop an engaged and diverse workforce. Real estate is inherently a people business, and we are all about inspiring experiences by creating places for good that require our employees to deliver."

Ng brings with her over two decades of in-house HR and consulting experience, across organisations in real estate, REIT, financial institution, and government. Most recently, she was Head of People & Culture, Asia, at Lendlease, where she has been credited with establishing a REIT team for the successful listing of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT on SGX, setting up a digital team for Lendlease’s Product Development Centre in Singapore, and more.

This new appointment sees Ng supporting Frasers Property’s diversified multinational workforce spanning more than 20 countries, and builds upon the company conducting its first group-wide Culture Survey in 2021, which has provided insights on what people initiatives to prioritise and how to develop a stronger customer-focused and performance-driven work culture for the future.

Newly-appointed Ng shared: "I am excited to play a leading role in elevating Frasers Property as a people-centric and purpose-driven workplace. Working closely with the leaders and HR across our multi-national footprint, I see a huge opportunity to shape a growth-minded and aligned workforce that will translate to greater employee experiences and customer success."
