Ecolex taps into Globalization Partners to quickly and compliantly expand into new markets

Globalization Partners has signed on Ecolex, a leading bioscience-based enterprise, to enable the firm to quickly and compliantly expand into new markets.

WeWork introduces WeWork Business Solutions (WBS) as a one-stop-shop business growth platform

WeWork India, a leader in flexible workspaces, has launched WeWork Business Solutions (WBS), a platform to offer hassle-free, cost-effective professional and curated solutions to all WeWork members, both existing and new, with a priority on enabling them to focus on their business growth.

To access this service, customers can take up a WeWork membership and get access to a suite of curated services focusing on accounting and finance, legal & tax advisory, insurance, and technology &telecom services for a bespoke experience.

Talent acquisition startup Jobilla raises €2.16mn

Finnish talent acquisition startup Jobilla has announced the successful closure of a €2.16mn funding round led by tech investor Trind VC of which €700,000 was raised as loans and governmental grants. This round will fuel further expansion in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, while also scaling up the company's operations in the USA. The capital will also further develop its AI-powered candidate filtering to the platform’s capabilities for more time and money savings. 

“We are thankful for the support shown by Trind VC and our other investors who believe in our vision to build the most automated and efficient recruitment processes possible and help businesses find the best talent for the right job,” said Jobilla Co-founder and CEO Henri Nordström.

"Our mission is to shorten the path to more win-wins by giving companies and recruiters the tools they need to connect more top talents with more businesses," added Nordström.

Jobilla currently has offices in Helsinki, Finland; Berlin, Germany; San Francisco, the US; Riga, Latvia; and Jakarta, Indonesia. 

“With over 20 years of experience in the recruitment industry, we identified Jobilla’s approach to solving the shortage of available top talent was different to any other company that we’ve seen. Sanofi renews partnership with Cielo 

Cielo, a leading recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider, has renewed its partnership with Sanofi. The partnership covers Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and Cambodia. 

"Life sciences leaders such as Sanofi are rapidly transforming their talent acquisition strategies. We are excited to renew our strategic partnership with Sanofi and continue to help them deliver on their commitment in offering innovative healthcare solutions to patients by providing in-demand talent in Asia," said Seb O'Connell, President of EMEA and APAC, Cielo. 

Cielo has been working with Sanofi in Asia since 2018 to provide talent sourcing and recruiting strategies in the region, helping Sanofi transform its approach to talent acquisition. Cielo is also Sanofi's RPO partner in the US and Latin America.

HR Path raises €113mn and acquires Whitaker-Taylor 

HR Path, a member of French Tech, has announced a €113mn financing from banks, to accelerate its growth. This new round of financing was made possible by the following banks: Société Générale, BNP, Crédit Agricole, Banque Palatine, LCI and Caisse d'Epargne. 

With this infusion, HR Path plans to expand its value proposition in all countries where the group is already present, with priority given to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Spain. The company offers a support service to companies for HR transformation consulting, implementation of software solutions and payroll outsourcing (BPO).

HR Path also announced the acquisition of Whitaker-Taylor, an HR technology consulting firm with expertise in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HR, and a strong presence in the US and Europe.

JobsDB re-launches 'Virtual Career Fair'

From 1-5 March 2021, JobsDB held its first ever 'Virtual Career Fair' for job seekers to explore the latest job opportunities and engage in dialogue with various employers conveniently at home. In view of the second peak period of recruitment in May and June, JobsDB invited about 50 enterprises to the new 'Virtual Career Fair' held on 25-27 May 2021.

The fair re-launched career consultations welcoming job seekers to register and make appointments with their preferred senior career advisors from different industries. Job seekers could also send self-introduction videos along with their answers to employers' questions to help potential employers understand their strengths and personal traits.  

The previous edition of the fair attracted more than 10,000 job seekers to visit JobsDB's recruitment websites or to apply for job vacancies provided by participating enterprises.
