Malaysia's updated passport office opening hours effective 1 July 2024

Passport issuing offices in all states except Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan are open Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Malaysia has updated the opening hours for its passport issuing offices. 

According to the Immigration Department of Malaysia, the new operating hours effective 1 July 2024 (Monday) are as follows:

Branches in all states except Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan:

• Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
• Break time: 1.00pm to 2.00pm

Branches in Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan:

• Sunday to Wednesday: 8.00am to 6.00pm
• Thursday: 8.00am to 3.30pm
• Break time: 1.00pm to 2.00pm

The following branches will operate on Saturdays, from 8.00am to 12.30pm:

1.  Menara Ikhlas, WP Putrajaya
2. Ayer Keroh, Melaka
3. Wangsa Maju, WP Kuala Lumpur
4. Jalan Duta, WP Kuala Lumpur
5. Kulim, Kedah
6. Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang
7. Kuala Selangor, Selangor
8. Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor
9. Kajang, Selangor
10. Kelana Jaya, Selangor
11. Puchong, Selangor
12. Shah Alam, Selangor
13. Telok Intan, Perak
14. Taiping, Perak
15. Lumut, Perak

Meanwhile, the updated urban transformation centres operating hours in the respective locations are as follows:

All states other than Perlis, Pahang, Kedah and Terengganu:

• Working days: 8.00 am to 7.00 pm
• Weekdays: 8.00am to 5.00pm

Perlis, Pahang, Kedah and Terengganu:

• Every day: 8.00am to 5.00pm
