Up the ranks: Varthana promotes Chandra Kumar CS to the role of CHRO

Alongside this role, he will also be leading the CX, and will be responsible for integrating the EX with the CX for the education NBFC.

Varthana, an education non-banking finance company based in India, has promoted Chandra Kumar CS to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), a position he will assume alongside leading customer experience.

With more than 20 years of experience in HR across various industries, Chandra comes with expertise in creating organisational culture, forging highly collaborative teams, and developing employees through mentorship and coaching.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Chandra was most recently the Senior Vice President & Head of Human Resources at Varthana. Prior to joining the company, he was Head of Business HR and HRSD at Mahindra Comviva, where he was responsible for driving the HR strategy for its global business units and driving excellence in HR service delivery. He also previously worked with Tata Communications, responsible for the effective implementation of the company's HR strategy, policies, practices, and systems for its global enterprise solutions business units.
